Zhongguotaiji, what's the purpose of putting counter productive changes into the articles having to do with Chinese martial arts e.g. Kung Fu and Wushu? The link to Gong Fu is a redirect to Kung Fu and what is that good for? Please go and read up on such things as Wikipedia:Manual of Style. cheers --synthetik 04:51 May 11, 2003 (UTC)
Why are you deleting the links to other language Wikis? -- Zoe
Why are you putting self-referencing, redundant links all over the Chinese martial arts articles? If a visitor is already in the Gong Fu article there is no need to have a link to it. --synthetik 06:15 May 11, 2003 (UTC)
Why are you replacing English words with Chinese terms that are meaningless to most of the visitors like in the Tai Ji article "- Use the Mind and Strength" became "- Use the Mind and Nei Jin". Why don't you just add the Chinese term in parenthesis behind it eg "- Use the Mind and Strength (Nei Jin)". --synthetik 06:23 May 11, 2003 (UTC)
Hi, I have changed the 道 article back to "Taoism". I realize that this is less accurate than the Pinyin transcription. We have been over this issue many times before on Wikipedia (see the Daoism versus Taoism article), and the consensus is that the word "Tao" with a "T" has been assimilated into the English language as a word in its own right (for instance, almost all English language versions of the book are called the "Tao Te Ching"). Thus, in the English language encyclopedia, we use "Tao" rather than "Dao". kwertii
