When I first signed in as a Wikipedian, I was most active in The Pokémon Adoption Centre, a project to turn the hundreds of stub articles about Pokémon species into decent articles with more (hopefully useful) information. In this way, we hoped to convince fellow Wikipedians that the subject is a bit more worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia than originally thought.
