My goal is to inject historical rigor into articles where ideological polemics can get out of hand. For instance, on the Vietnam War, I have tried to add a neutral (neutral by its inclusion of many details, positive and negative) assessment of US aims in supporting South Vietnam, as well as how the geopolitical aims of multiple powers led to that conflict.
