I call shenanigans
[edit]Stage blood? Googling doesn't seem to turn up a recipe or reference. Even if it were verifiably true, it seems like it would be of more interest to those viewing a Stage Blood topic. Update, I did find references/recipes using Condensed Milk, which the author of the comment seems to have confused with malted milk. The thick liquid consistency of condensed milk makes more sense as a fake blood ingredient, malted milk I suspect would prove too powdery/gritty to be of any use...—Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.114.158.146 (talk) 08:02, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Process
[edit]So the malted barley is ground up into a flour like the wheat? or the malted barley is removed after evaporation?

Effects?
[edit]Can someone add any effects to the page, Horlicks say that malt milk is able to give you a good nights sleep, Is there any scientific proof of this or is it just a selling solgan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.69.81.226 (talk) 02:48, 7 November 2007 (UTC) I recall a letter to the editor in Science in the early 1970's, describing a small study which showed that malt and warm milk aided in sleep. I may be able to find it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.57.151.105 (talk) 16:03, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Storage Problem
[edit]I use this for many many years but I need to know how to protect the powder from forming "sandstone"-- a clump of malt rock. I've tried micro wave once, n.g, I even made a "syrup" one time. I'm looking for a "preservative" or stabilizer. goldrush1 at gmail. 5/27/2010 ```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goldrush1 (talk • contribs) 05:24, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Interchangable?
[edit]The two forms (with and without enzymes) have different uses. But, can the active enzyme bakers version but used for the malt-shop flavor purposes? Or do I need to keep both in the house? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.250.7.198 (talk) 21:57, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Reference 6
[edit]... is not associated with anything.
It should be turned into a proper <ref> ... </ref>. Varlaam (talk) 15:45, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Redirection
[edit]Is it possible to create a page for Diastatic Malt powder that redirects here? Diastatic Malt powder only performs a search, and typing Diastatic malt into the Search bar only pulls up a link to the page "Mash ingredients (Redirected from Diastatic malt extract)"
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.152.208.1 (talk) 02:27, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
