regerding Resignations after the 2004 presidential elections article:
This article should be merged with George W. Bush's first term as president of the United States#Post-election as most of this information can already be found there as well as at United States Cabinet#Current Cabinet. Merge date ought to be 20 Jan 05 since that is inauguration day and additions after that would be a matter of Bush's second term . MPS 20:58, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

AVOID EXACT Number of Nations Represented in Conclave!
[edit]I raised this on the Papal conclave, 2005 talk page some time ago.We must not use an exact number of nations represented if we are to have a statement that everyone will regard as true without offending some nationalists' political sensitivities or other.Whether England and Scotland are considered as separate or as part of the United Kingdom, whether Puerto Rico is counted separately or as under the United States...either way,an exact number offends someone. On the other hand, nobody can argue with "slightly over fifty",so let's leave it at that.--Louis E./le@put.com/12.144.5.2 16:12, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Re:Cartwheel Galaxy
[edit]You're correct. It's probably a bona fide edit, just worded a little too suspiciously for me to press "revert". :-( I'll add it back in. Kimchi.sg | talk 09:27, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Template: Aircraft infobox
[edit]Thanks for the heads up. I've just got back from a RTW trip and haven't been paying attention. Briefly, someone must have decided that Template:Aircraft infobox could be redirected to a new Template:Infobox aircraft and when they did this it screwed up all the airliner crash articles. I've reverted the redirect and informed the editor. --Jumbo 04:54, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
