This has been here for almost a year, created by an anonymous user who had no other edits (it was moved to its present location by User:Nateji77, but the history of Thoros has the original version, where the anon also wrote the name as "Thorak"). I know I have looked at this article numerous times, but it never occurred to me until now that it makes no sense and is probably junk. Armenia, with a connection to the Norse god Thor? There are Armenian kings called Thoros but they are from the 12th century onwards, over 800 years after Armenia became Christian, so surely none of them are this god-king. (All Google hits, in case you are wondering, are from Wikipedia mirrors, since it has been here for so long.) Adam Bishop 09:04, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Apprently he is a real person in Armenian history [1], but not as it is listed in current wiki on subject, Delete or Re-write --Boothy443 09:07, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)- No no...that can't possibly be the Thoros described here. There are three kings named Thoros, and as I said, they are from the 12th century onwards. We don't have an article about King Thoros I yet, but he is certainly no god-king. - thats why i put the re-write in, maybe some one might feel to take it up. --Boothy443 09:12, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Rewrite how, if there is no god named Thoros? Thoros I of Armenia would be the article for that guy (to match Thoros II and Thoros III). Adam Bishop 09:15, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)
