User talk:Jkd~enwiki
Dear jkd, I think using your personal site here is a good way to communicate! Regarding the technical aspect here I have a question: how is it possible to comment a contribution? I give you an example: at the last contribution you wrote: "society of knowledge - again rené's text". How could you do that?--Jeanpol 08:29, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
adding a comment
[edit]Hi, so this is my personal site???
- That's not directly your personal site. This is your User talk site. Your personal site calls "user page"...
To answer your question: after editing the article, there is a little box where it says "edit summary" or something like that - there you can put in what you just did.JK
- Thank you very much!--Jeanpol 16:14, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
OK, would you like to communicate here or on our old board? In English or French? And a little correction - this page *is called... (passive) ;-)
Now I'll try to link my name to the user page: jkd again User:jkd
Why does the word "user" show in front of my name, but not in front of yours?? jkd
- To sing a text easyly you have to tip following sings: - (two times) and ~ (for times) (I cannot write it, because if I do that, you see my name and not the types).--Jeanpol 10:45, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
--Jkd 12:54, 7 May 2005 (UTC) Thanks a lot!
You are writing on the article further?
[edit]Great! I would be very happy, if you would work with me further. Actually I'm carrying out a most interesting project (I think): travelling to Moskau, Kasan, Burgas (Bulgarian) and Istanbul and meeting students in that towns, asking the quesion if they are attracted by Europ, by USA or by the East...--Jeanpol 06:57, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for having helping me in the article purpose

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Jkd. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Jkd~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
