Last Major City with Rail
[edit]The last sentence in the introduction has no citation and seems implausible given that Los Angeles was one of the termini of the second transcontinental railroad. I propose removing it unless someone can add a citation.User:arturoramos

Bike example
[edit]Could it be that the "Example" - Transportation_of_Los_Angeles#Example of using bikes on the Metrolink is a bit long and a case of personal research? It seems like most of what is information in it is also contained in the preceding section. The article is so long already and getting longer that detailed examples of commuter hassles should probably be summarized, if not moved to another article - "Biking in LA" or something like that. Anyway, my two centavos worth.... (great article, all in all.) Willmcw 10:19, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
The example is also factually incorrect. It's been ccorrected. 3 Dec 2004
LAX
[edit]Is it the fifth or the sixth busiest airport in the world? The text says one, the caption to the picture says the other.
Query on Inconsistencies on LAX
[edit]"One is led to wonder which Wikipedia article relative to LAX is accurate. Is it the third busiest or second busiest in the United States? Is its passenger volume 61+ million or 81+ million? Where does it rank among world airports? Choose a Wikipedia article and decide for yourself which one to believe?"
