[edit]- I understand that the nature of something's popularity is not something easily empirically proven, but I would wonder what truth is in this? The work is an actual journal, and a snapshot of the literary world of London during the height of the 18th Century, as well as a compelling coming of age story. Labelling it as an exciting sex romp seems to do it a grave disservice in my opinion. Any thoughts? --Ryan Heuser 23:55, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
