I nominate myself for an administrator, because I have contributed a lot to Wikipedia and always acted in good faith. — JIP | Talk 06:25, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I accept the nomination. — JIP | Talk 07:43, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Support
- Even though you will nominate Star Trek for deletion far in the future to make a point, I know that you will make a great admin. ;-) Grandmasterka 20:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose
- Strong oppose. It would merely mean an abuse of administrative powers. — JIP | Talk 06:25, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Neutral
- Cannot decide if I can take this nomination seriously or not (or is that the point?!). doktorb | words 20:48, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
- A. Deleting articles that qualify for speedy deletion.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. Helsinki slang comes to mind.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
- A. Some people have reverted my changes, but the reverts have been fully justified, and there has been no need for edit wars.
