[edit]What about the band J D was in during his high school year in Amarillo. Named THE CINDERS, 3-piece, Charles Bates guitar, Steve Dodge Guitar and JD Drums. Stanley Dodge sometimes played Bass. JD was thrown out of the Tascosa High School Choir. Was also in the Tascosa High School Orchestra.
First recording I know of was "Day before Tomorrow" recorded in Clovis NM @ Norman Petty's studio.
How about "Longbranch Pennywhistle" a Souther/Frey album.
Souther did not write "Home" for Bonnie Raitt's album. It was written by Karla Bonoff. I'll delete that entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Airproofing (talk • contribs) 16:06, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
On Fogelberg's album "Captured Angel" there is no song titled "The Hot Damn Brothers" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:B80F:8C0:AC9F:2D1:691D:20E4 (talk) 13:22, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:JDSoutheralbumcover.jpg
[edit]Image:JDSoutheralbumcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

This article uses the word "eponymous" way too many times
[edit]I'm just saying! I'd try to fix this but I'm working to keep an article from getting deleted for good right now. Anyone care to fix this and maybe list some of his other well-known songs for others? Thanks. LiPollis (talk) 11:34, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
